The Texas Conversion Market Launches are off to a great start! We have had high attendance in Killeen, Abilene, Wichita Falls and Amarillo. There are more launches in the weeks ahead as we introduce CLEAR 4G to Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, Waco and Corpus Christi.

CLEAR Hot Air Balloon
In addition to the impressive CLEAR 4G demos, one of the biggest attention-getters is the 80-foot-tall CLEAR Hot Air Balloon. The pilot and his team had great success in Wichita Falls where the sky was filled with the balloon on October 15. The CLEAR Balloon flew for on various flights around the city lasting up to 90 minutes. The bright green CLEAR balloon got the attention of Wichita Falls residents immediately. Many people started calling the local CLEAR office and the radio station to find out what was going on with the CLEAR Hot Air Balloon. Mission Accomplished! The activity was a great traffic driver for the launch event which was held in the parking lot of the local Wichita Falls Best Buy store. Look to the skies for the CLEAR Hot Air Balloon in your area!
The next day in Amarillo, we had a successful launch event at West Gate Mall. Attendees were entertained by Stomp, the mascot for the Amarillo Gorillas Minor League Hockey Team. Stomp helped the event staff by handing out prize entry stickers to launch attendees and entertaining the children and adults in Center Court. Our strong attendance numbers were due to the great team effort put forth from the local Amarillo CLEAR Office, but Stomp tried to take all of the credit!

I really like the new look. I was on the clear homepage and I clicked a link to Clear365. What is this?
Hi, thanks for the positive feedback!
We position Clear365 as the member site that allows the customers to access their account information, web content, CLEAR and Clearwire services.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi, I recently applied for employment at Clearwire and was looking over the website to increase my company knowledge and ran across the blog. It was fun reading about your Texas launch where you teamed with the local hockey team and launched a hot air baloon. These were also two marketing tactics I used in Central Georgia when my employer GA PCS Management (DBA Sprint PCS) launched back in 2000. It worked well for us and hopefully it did for Clearwire as well.
Hmmmmm…perhaps I’ll be able to use the rest of my marketing ideas if I land a job at Clearwire…wish me luck!!
I see that you have just about every city around me hooked up with Clearwire! When are you expanding to Dallas/Ft. Worth?
All of your Texas coverage so far is for smaller towns, none of the large cities are covered.
When are you going to cover the Dallas metro area? I was told that was suppose to start beginning of October???
