Welcome to the CLEAR blog

July 15th, 2009

We at CLEAR are embarking on the incredibly exciting journey of launching super fast mobile internet across the country. And while the roll-out may take some time to get to your city, we want to keep you as up to date as possible on how things are going.

This blog will give you the inside scoop on all things CLEAR–new market launches, new products coming from our OEM partners, technology developments and tons of other tidbits of information from our executives, employees and partners. And, of course, we are looking for your comments and feedback too… it wouldn’t be a blog without input from the readers, so please tell us what you think and we’ll be as open as we can in return.

Next week we will be launching yet another CLEAR market, so be on the lookout for a post about how the Las Vegas launch went.

This looked very promising so I purchased both modems at the Meadows Mall. But at my house, located around Washington Blvd and Rancho Drive the modem will not get a signal strong enough to light up more than just one light on the modem. The download speed according to speed tests was around 0.6mbs whil my cable modem was 7mbs. I also tried to hook up the wireless modem at my house and it keeps saying connection can not be established. Could you please come to the area and test this out for yourselves. According to tech support there is an antenna right down the street from my house at Bonanza and Rancho. I am very disappointed so far. Thanks for listening.

I liked the idea, but the speed is so unperdicable that i might as well have dialup, from around 3pm to 7 or8 pm the signal drops as low as 285kbps,
I have the 3mbps package, probably will cancel soon, as the techs could not help.
