Can I share a Wi-Fi from a Clear Spot 4G that’s tethered via USB?

Yes, you can share your 4G Wi-Fi network with up to 8 other devices while you are directly connected via USB to your CLEAR Spot 4G Series I unit.

To ensure your settings support this capability:

  • 1. Enter http://clearspot ( or http://192.168.1.1) into your web browser to access the Device Home.

  • 2. Enter your User Name and password (default is ‘admin’).

  • 3. Click on the Tools tab.

  • 4. Click on the USB Data Mode link

  • 5. Ensure there is no checkmark in the box for ‘Disable Wi-Fi Radio when connected via USB Data Mode’.

  • 6. Click the Save Settings button to save your settings.

Location where the user intends to use the service. This must be a pre-approved Bay-Area zipcode for the Innovation Network Offer.
