I don’t hear a dial tone when I pick up my phone.
Please be sure that your CLEAR Home or Business Internet Service is functioning properly. A functioning Internet connection is required to make and receive phone calls.
1. Make sure the telephone plugged into the Voice Adapter is plugged into the Phone1 port
2. Make sure that all the cables and adapters are securely plugged in.
3. Ensure that all of the lights on your CLEAR modem and CLEAR Voice Adapter are lit. You should see a solid ‘Power’ light, a flickering ‘Internet’ light and a solid ‘Phone 1’ light.
4. If you do not see the lights on your modem and CLEAR Voice adaptor lit up as described in step 3:
a. unplug the modem and the Digital Voice adapter from the wall power outlet for approx 20 seconds.
b. plug them back in to power them up.
