How long can the CLEAR Spot run on its battery?


The Clear Spot 4G – Personal HotSpot’s battery will provide about 4 hours of operation under continuous use.

The Clear Spot 4G+ Personal HotSpot battery will provide about 3 hours of continuous power.


These times will vary based on operating conditions such as WiMAX signal strength and Wi-Fi Transmit power level. Log into your Clear Spot’s setup utility/user interface to adjust the settings for these conditions, which help prolong your battery’s runtime.

The MAC ID (Media Access Control Identifier) is a set of 12 alphanumeric characters on each WiMAX device used to identify your device on the CLEAR network. The MAC ID is listed on the label on the bottom of your device and is preceded by the letters “MAC”.
