When should I visit a Device Assistance Center?
If you're experiencing speed and connection issues, it's easy to assume that your device may be defective. Commonly, something other than the device is found to be the culprit. Follow the steps below to pinpoint the potential issue.
1) Troubleshoot common speed and connection issues

Try following the steps in this Guide before taking your device to the nearest CLEAR Authorized Device Assistance Center.
Steps include:
- Check coverage
- Troubleshoot Common Device Issues
- Use Connection Optimizer. You'll need to log in to My Account to use this tool.
- Check Quick Start Guide. Click on your device and the link to the guide can be found in the list of downloads.
2) Get in-person support from a Device Assistance Representative
A Device Assistance Representative is available to conduct an inspection of your device at a CLEAR Authorized Device Assistance Center. We recommend this option to get a quick and accurate diagnosis of hardware-related issues. Please bring proof of purchase of your device with you to verify warranty eligibility.
How does device assistance work?
Our Representatives are trained to evaluate your device. They’ll perform a visual inspection, confirm that the device components are working properly, verify that the primary location for use is in CLEAR coverage, and restore factory settings (if needed). In addition, the Center can assist you with device replacement options if it’s determined that your device meets all warranty qualifications and that your issue cannot be resolved onsite.
