I forgot the password to my CLEAR Spot 4G+ Personal HotSpot. How can I reset it?

If you’ve forgotten your CLEAR Spot 4G+ password you’ll need to reset your device to its factory default settings. It’s easy to do:

  1. Remove the back panel of the CLEAR Spot 4G+ unit.
  2. Locate the small hole (~1 mm diameter), below and to the right of the battery compartment.
  3. Insert a thin, narrow object into the hole and hold for 5 seconds
  4. Follow the LCD instructions (Press the power button to reset the device).

Note: After resetting, the 4G/3G account information on your device remains unaffected but you will need to go through the network setup process again.

Option 2) Turn on your CLEAR device and connect to the wi-fi signal. Launch your browser then follow the directions to buy a monthly plan or short-term pass.

Re-up

If your short-term pass has expired, you’ll need to purchase a new pass to get back online. The good news is, it’s easy to do.

CLEAR lets you choose the pass that works best for you—weekly, daily, or even two-hour increments. Get 4G take-it-with-you internet exactly when you want it.

To re-up your service, just follow these instructions.
