Will it work with a regular laptop?
Regular laptops can connect to CLEAR by using a Clear USB Modem. Just plug the modem into your laptop’s standard USB port to connect. When you choose your device, look at the Specifications to ensure it will work with your particular laptop.
How easy is it to set up?
It’s a lot like using Wi-Fi on your laptop. If you’re using a WiMAX-ready laptop or handheld device, it should connect automatically in CLEAR coverage areas. If you’re using a USB modem, just plug it into your laptop and the CLEAR connection manager will automatically look for a CLEAR signal.
Can I use CLEAR service in other cities?
Absolutely. You can use your CLEAR service in any city where there is a CLEAR network. We’re rolling out in cities across the nation, so your coverage options are increasing all the time. See our interactive coverage map at

Will it work with other devices?
