Return & Cancellation Policy (For CLEAR service purchased on or after October 30, 2011)

Service Refunds

For CLEAR service purchased and activated directly through clear.com (or another authorized CLEAR retail sales channel), CLEAR additionally provides you, on a one (1)-time only basis, with a fifteen (15) day service return policy with respect solely to your initially ordered CLEAR service period, provided that such initially ordered CLEAR service is in the form of a monthly rate plan. (This service return policy does not apply if the initial CLEAR service that you order is in the form of (i) a two (2)-hour, daily or weekly rate plan or (ii) any other rate plan of a time increment other than monthly.) If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with such initially ordered CLEAR monthly service and you consequently elect (by calling CLEAR Customer Care at 888-888-3113, or by visiting the retail location where you originally purchased your CLEAR service) to cancel such CLEAR service within fifteen (15) days after the start of such initial monthly service period, then you may obtain a refund of the service fee (including any applicable taxes thereon) that you previously paid for such initial monthly service period.

Device Refunds

CLEAR provides you with a thirty (30)-day device return policy on a device purchased directly through clear.com (or another authorized CLEAR retail sales channel). If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your CLEAR service or device and you consequently elect to cancel your CLEAR service within thirty (30) days after the date on which you purchased your CLEAR device, then provided that you return your purchased device (in undamaged condition and in good working order, and together with your original device purchase receipt or other device proof of purchase) within thirty (30) days from your cancellation date, you will receive a refund of your purchase price (including taxes, but excluding shipping and rebate amounts) for such device. You may cancel your CLEAR service by (1) calling CLEAR Customer Care, at 888-888-3113, or (2) visiting the retail location where you originally purchased your CLEAR service. You may return your purchased device (a) via the prepaid mailing label that CLEAR emails to you or (b) to the retail location where you originally purchased the device. If you return such device in damaged condition or in poor working order as the sole result of a manufacturer’s defect, then that fact in itself will not disqualify you from receiving a refund of your device purchase price, provided that you otherwise satisfy each of the requirements set forth in this paragraph.

The above-described device return policy and service return policy do not diminish your responsibility for the payment of any and all other taxes and charges (e.g., any applicable shipping and/or activation fees) that you may have incurred through the date of your CLEAR service cancellation.

 

Return & Cancellation Policy (For CLEAR service purchased prior to October 30, 2011)

CLEAR is happy to offer a 30-day return policy with respect to CLEAR internet service purchased and activated directly through clear.com. Here is what that means: if (for any reason) you are not completely satisfied with your CLEAR service or equipment, then you may cancel your CLEAR service within 30 days of sign up — by calling customer service at 888-888-3113 — without incurring any Early Termination Fee(s).

However, you will remain responsible for payment of (a) a pro-rated portion of your initial monthly service fee, (b) a pro-rated portion of your initial monthly equipment lease fee(s) (if applicable), and (c) any and all other charges (e.g., any applicable shipping and/or activation fees) that you may incur through the date of cancellation.)

Within 30 days after cancelling service under our return policy, you must return to us – in undamaged condition and in good working order — any equipment you purchased or leased from us, in order to receive a refund on purchased equipment, or to avoid incurring an Equipment Non-Return Fee on leased equipment, all as outlined more fully in our Terms of Service.

Should you decide to cancel CLEAR service more than 30 days after you initially signed up for service, or should your service be terminated by CLEAR by reason of your violation of our Terms of Service (or of any other agreement between you and CLEAR), then as explained more fully at www.clear.com/legal/etf and in your Order Confirmation, you will remain subject to any Early Termination Fee(s) that may be part of your rate plan.

Why do we ask for credit card

A user credit card is necessary to open an account with CLEAR even if there is no charge or purchase for two reasons:


If no purchase was selected in the order, your credit card will not be charged.

Service Area Requirement

Location where the user intends to use the service. This must be a pre-approved Bay-Area zipcode for the Innovation Network Offer.
