Spring is almost here and with that, the CLEAR Blog is happy to announce more blossoming coverage in the Boise, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Chicago markets! With these coverage expansions, CLEAR 4G is now able to better serve its customers in these key markets with expanded 4G service.
In Boise, the CLEAR 4G coverage area has grown by more than nine square miles and now covers 530,000 potential customers, allowing the communities of Caldwell, Kuna, Nampa, and Meridian to experience easier connections and faster speeds using CLEAR 4G.
In the Golden State, our expanded network in Sacramento and Los Angeles means we can now provide service to over 1.3 million and 11 million users respectively. In other terms, in Sacramento the service area has grown by more than 33 square miles, while in Los Angeles our service area now encompasses more than 1,900 square miles.
In Chicago we’re expanding our network by 40%. The CLEAR 4G coverage area is now over 930 square miles larger and provides enhanced capacity and expanded coverage for an additional 1,350,000 people. In the last year our coverage in Chicago has grown to encompass a total of over 8.45 million people.
By expanding the CLEAR coverage areas, Allan Lamb, regional general manager for Clearwire in the Sacramento area, hopes that “The enhanced service will help support the high volumes of traffic we see on the network as consumers continue to take advantage of CLEAR’s no-cap data plans.”*
